When you subscribe to The VÉYA Letter, we collect your email address, the source or page from which you subscribed, subscription status and subscription timestamps.

When you contact VÉYA, we collect the information you choose to submit in the contact form, including your name, email address, organisation, enquiry type, article or page address and message.

VÉYA also uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand privacy-friendly website usage, such as page views and limited custom events. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, contact messages, form contents or search query text to analytics.

Newsletter information is used to manage subscriptions to The VÉYA Letter and to respect unsubscribe requests.

Contact enquiry information is used to read, route and respond to editorial, correction, advertising, partnership, press and general enquiries.

Analytics information helps VÉYA understand which public pages and successful user actions are used, so the website can be maintained and improved.

VÉYA uses Supabase to store newsletter subscriber records.

VÉYA uses Resend to deliver contact enquiries submitted through the website to the VÉYA editorial inbox.

VÉYA is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics for privacy-friendly website analytics.

Newsletter records are kept while a subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, VÉYA may retain a limited record of the email address, unsubscribed status and unsubscribe timestamp so the withdrawal can be respected.

Contact enquiries are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain editorial records, handle corrections or manage a relevant relationship.

You may request deletion of personal information, and VÉYA will review the request in light of operational, legal and editorial record-keeping needs.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have submitted to VÉYA by emailing editorial@veyaindia.com.

To protect privacy, VÉYA may need to take reasonable steps to confirm that the request relates to you before acting on it.

Unsubscribe requests are handled without revealing whether a specific email address exists in the subscriber database.

VÉYA uses server-side handling for newsletter, unsubscribe and contact requests so service credentials are not exposed in client-side code.

No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, but VÉYA takes reasonable care to limit access to systems and information used to operate the website.

VÉYA is an editorial publication for a general audience and is not directed to children. VÉYA does not knowingly collect personal information from children through newsletter or contact forms.
